Farmington Village Dental in the News
Back in March, when COVID-19 started to hit CT, Farmington Village Dental closed for the safety of our staff and patients based on the guidance of the Governor of CT and similar guidance from the American Dental Association and the CT State Dental Association. Ever since, we have been taking care of emergency patients as discussed in our previous blog post. We have been answering phone calls and responding to texts from many of our patients who have dental concerns during this crisis. Some patients we have been able to handle by giving guidance and advice. For others, we have phoned in prescriptions. Some patients, however, have had to be seen in person. A telephone call or a text message is certainly not a substitute for an actual dental visit!
Dr.Krause and Sue went in to see such patients recently, and since this has started to happen more frequently, we decided to post on our Facebook and Instagram pages about it.
About a day later, we started receiving a flurry of phone calls and messages. NBC 30 featured our photo and Dr. Krause and Sue on the 6pm news! Check it out:
To say we were proud that they were recognized as #CTHeroes is an understatement!
The "fame" continued the next night when calls and texts once again started to come in fast and furious. This time, NBC CT featured Dr. Eric Krause and Sue on their Facebook page.
We have taken this opportunity to expand our gratitude to other #CTHEROES on our social media pages. The people featured are near and dear to the hearts of our staff. If you don't already follow us on social media, please consider doing so. We would love to have you as part of our audience!
Are you looking for a dentist in the Farmington, CT area? If so, we would love to meet you once we are back up and running. Fingers crossed we can do so safely soon.
